Do's and don'ts

Do's

 

1. Always buy digital assets from KYC exchanges and transfer to your cold storage wallet and self-custody wallet. 

2. Write down your recovery phrase and store it at a secure place. 

3. If you're sending your digital asset from one exchange to another exchange, make sure to send the memo as well.

 

Don'ts

1. Never buy digital assets from a non-kyc exchange or a defi exchange. Always have your route on paper.

2. Never give away your recovery phrase to anyone and self-custody wallet or cold storage company will never ask you for it.

3. Never send your digital assets to someone you don't know even if they beg or threaten you.
